Sometimes we get hurt by others and sometimes we create our own pain. Sometimes painful circumstances happen only because we live in a fallen world. Believers who have Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior have a profound hope through relationship with God and the power of the Holy Spirit. We have resources the world cannot offer. Herein lies the answer to navigating the relational, emotional, spiritual, and physical hardships in life. \r\nIn this study we will look at what God's word says about living in a fallen world, the theological groundwork for what we believe and application of scripture to our lives. Rather than focusing on happiness, we will explore how faith makes a difference to experiencing life with confidence, peace, and purpose. Our actions reflect our heart’s beliefs and desires. Our heart’s beliefs and desires feed our motivations, thinking and emotions. Our actions follow next. Believers are not destined to struggle through life’s trials alone or without stable guidance. The workbook also provides a brief daily Bible study. At each GriefShare session you will find encouragement and help in grieving the death of your loved one. No matter the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and how to cope with the normal emotions that come when grieving a death. You will also learn valuable information on facing life situations, and you’ll gain renewed hope for the future. These sessions are open to any adult regardless of whether your experience is recent or not so recent. The group is led by individuals who have personally experienced grief due to a loved one’s death.
