KIDS MINISTRY
Monthly Memory Verse:
The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all. (Psalm 103:19)
WEEK THREE: LIVING HOPE (1 Peter 1–5; 2 Peter 3)
Brite Idea: God is greater than our suffering.
He Question: How does Jesus give hope?
Jesus gives hope through the promise that He will return one day and His followers will have eternal life with Him. Trials on Earth are temporary, but His love and hope are forever.
We Question: How can we respond when bad times come?
Jesus gives us hope so that we can find joy in Him, even in tough times. We can live to glorify God, no matter what is happening.

MISSIONARies OF THE MONTH
JEFF AND MEREDITH
Jeff and Meredith serve in Albania and Macedonia, focusing on discipleship and evangelism through the local church. They emphasize building relationships and making disciples in everyday life, particularly in marketplace settings. With professional backgrounds in business and law, they use their experience to create opportunities to share the gospel and positively influence their community. Their mission is to strengthen the body of Christ and reach those who have not yet heard about Jesus.
Please Pray:
For church leadership — Pray for wisdom and grace during a time of leadership transition.
For open doors — Ask God to provide opportunities to share the gospel through business and ministry.
For the SCC short-term missions team — Pray for unity, safety, and fruitful ministry in July.
SAFE FAMILIES
Safe Families brings together the church and the community to keep children safe and support families in crisis. Rooted in faith and driven by radical hospitality, generosity, and compassion, Safe Families builds a network of caring volunteers to walk alongside families facing social isolation. The goal is to strengthen families, prevent child abuse and neglect, and reduce the number of children entering the child welfare system unnecessarily.
Please Pray:
- For children — That every child in crisis would experience safety, love, and care.
- For families — That God would bring hope, healing, and support to those in need.
- For volunteers — For strength, wisdom, and compassion in their service.
- For engagement — That more churches and individuals would join this mission.
