About + Upcoming Events

Zachariah’s Acres is a one-of-a-kind place where children and adults with special needs can discover purpose, belonging, and joy in God’s creation. Through universally designed camps and hands-on experiences with nature, wildlife, and agriculture, they serve individuals of all ages with cognitive and physical disabilities.

Set in a beautiful outdoor environment, Zachariah’s Acres offers families facing special healthcare needs the opportunity to feel seen, valued, and refreshed as they explore and experience new adventures together.

Randy & Cindy Richner

Church planting and leadership development in southern Brazil.

Their Work + Prayer

Randy and Cindy Richner faithfully serve in Brazil as ABWE missionaries and Regional Directors, focusing on church planting and leadership development in Ivoti and Dois Irmãos. They are involved in evangelism, discipleship, preaching, teaching, biblical counseling, and small group ministry.

They also equip others through counseling training, regional seminaries, and church conferences throughout the year. With a genuine love for the Brazilian people and a heart for outreach, they are committed to strengthening the local church and seeing lives transformed by the power of the Gospel.

How to Pray

  • Pray God would draw those in their community who are searching for truth and allow His Word to reach their hearts.
  • Pray that the church plant would shine brightly, creating new opportunities for evangelistic Bible studies and meaningful Gospel conversations.
  • Pray for the unreached people groups near Ivoti and Dois Irmãos, that they would come to know the love and saving grace of Christ.

Joel & Megan Richner

Planting a growing local church and strengthening youth and church unity.

Their Work + Prayer

Joel and Megan Richner are church planters serving with ABWE in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil. Their desire is to reach people through evangelistic Bible studies and intentional discipleship as they establish a local church in the city of Igrejinha. In addition to planting the church, they are working to strengthen unity among churches and encourage Christian youth by organizing youth conferences throughout southern Brazil.

The Lord has graciously blessed the church in Igrejinha with continued growth. After a long season of searching, He has provided a building that will allow the congregation to continue growing, gathering, and faithfully serving the community.

How to Pray

  • Pray for their growth and training in biblical counseling, and for opportunities to reach church members and others in their lives with the Gospel.
  • Pray for wisdom and guidance as they begin new ministries in their new location and seek a national ministry partner.
  • Pray for their daughter, Emma Rose, for her health and growth, and for guidance as they prepare the church to thrive while they are away on furlough next year.
