Jericho and Brianne Haust are former staff members and volunteers at Spring Creek Church who followed God’s call to serve at Cedar Bay Camp & Retreat Center in Cedarville, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula. Cedar Bay is a Christ-centered retreat center on the shores of Lake Huron, providing a place where people can step away from daily life, encounter God, and be renewed through His Word and His creation.

Jericho serves as Operations Director, overseeing the daily operations and care of the facilities so guests are welcomed into a well-prepared and peaceful environment. Brianne serves as camp registrar, guiding families and groups through registration and helping create an inviting experience for everyone who comes to Cedar Bay.

How to Pray

• Pray that the Lord would provide four additional full-time, year-round staff members for the camp ministry.
• Pray that the Lord would provide the remaining funds needed to complete a centralized wastewater treatment system.
• Pray that the Lord would open doors to share the love of Jesus in the local community, and that the Haust family would love and serve others well in every opportunity He provides.

Adam Newcomer serves with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He works alongside a team to share the Gospel, disciple students, and equip them to live faithfully for Christ while reaching their peers with the good news. Adam builds authentic relationships with students, leads Bible studies and prayer gatherings, and mentors students as they grow in faith and leadership.

He has a passion to see students not only encounter Jesus personally, but also influence their campus and community for Christ. Through his work, he desires to see Carthage College transformed as students become confident in sharing the Gospel and living as faithful disciples of Jesus.

How to Pray

• Pray that students would find their “yes” to leading for Jesus, stepping out in faith to start new small groups and boldly share the Gospel with friends and peers across campus.
• Pray that God would gather students in community at Carthage so they can grow in faith together.
• Pray for the planting of a student-athlete ministry that disciples athletes to follow Jesus first, grow in faith together, and use their athletic gifts to impact teammates for Christ.

Samaritan’s Purse shares the love of Christ globally through Operation Christmas Child, delivering shoebox gifts along with the Gospel message. Children are invited into a 12-lesson discipleship program, where many come to faith in Jesus. Samaritan’s Purse also responds to crises through U.S. Disaster Relief and rebuilding efforts, bringing practical help and hope in times of need.

How to Pray

• Pray that every child receiving an Operation Christmas Child shoebox would experience Christ’s love, hear the Gospel, and follow Jesus through discipleship.
• Pray that children, families, churches, and volunteers would come to know Jesus, grow in faith, and share His love.
• Pray that Samaritan’s Purse relief and rebuilding efforts would bring practical help, compassion, hope, and opportunities for people to experience Christ’s love.
