MIDDLE SCHOOL (6TH-8TH)

Through our Sunday/Wednesday rhythm, we engage our middle school students in Sunday Biblical teaching and our Wednesday "Live @ the Loft" programming.  Each student also is part of a peer-friendly discipleship group (D-Group).  Students also have opportunities to participate in special events, retreats, and service projects in the community.

SUNDAY MORNINGS - 9:00-10:15 
Study: 66 in 7
Students are led through a study of each book of the Bible.  If a students attends all 7 years of Middle and High school, they will have studied all 66 books of the Bible in 7 years.  

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - 6:30-8:00PM
LIVE @ The LOFT.  On Wednesdays, we engage in relavant topical studies, play games and gather in small groups called Discipleship-Groups (D-Groups).  Each D-Group is divided by age and gender and is supervised by several adult leaders who guide and mentor the students. 

SERVICE DAYS
Service Days are monthly opportunities for All Middle and High School students to make a community impact.  This includes serving the homeless, the elderly, the poor, and others in the local community who need the love of Christ. 

RETREATS & EVENTS
All Middle and High School students are invited to attend the Fall Retreat (24 hour lock in here at Spring Creek) and The ChillFest Winter Retreat at Camp Forest Springs.

The Middle School Summer Retreat for 2024 will be "The Journey", a day style event here at Spring Creek.

Annual events for all Middle and High School students include a Christmas Party & Spring Prayer Concert.

The Loft Cafe

The LOFT Cafe offers concessions on Wednesday nights each week.  
6-6:30PM - Open to all students
6:30-7PM - Only students in D-Groups

So what do you need to know about the Café?

  • The Cafe is CASH ONLY.
  • There is no food allowed in the HUB (main meeting room).
  • There is a regular menu along with special items from time to time.  
  • The Cafe is NOT peanut/allergy free 
  • The Loft Cafe is only for the Loft Middle and High School students.

Student Worship and Serving Opportunities

Student Worship Band

This group leads music for student ministry gatherings on Wednesday nights and retreats.  Each member of the team is held to a high standard of excellence both in music and in their walk with the Lord. They are challenged each week to: Grow musically, Grow Spiritually and Live what they Sing.

Grow Program

GROW is a program designed to help students who are interested in worship ministry improve their musical skills (vocal or band instruments), learn how to work in a team, and to understand Biblical worship in light of God's love.  Each individual will be paired with a current member of the Student Worship team to learn and grow during practices, bringing them hands on training with other talented students.

Ages: 6th-12th Grade
Director: Jamie Ellinger
Runs: August - May
Rehearsal Times: Sundays from 1:00p-3:00p

MS4J (Middle School for Jesus)

MS4J uses a variety of methods to lead people to worship Jesus.  The group participates in Spring Creek worship services about 4 times times a year and ministers in other community locations such as the Milwaukee Rescue Mission, Zachariah's Acres, and nursing homes.

Ages: Grades 6-8
Director: Pam Tajnai
Runs: Sept – June, Rehearsals are Wednesdays 5-6pm

Service Days


Each month students serve our community in various ways.  Past serving locations have included Soles for Jesus, Zachariah's Acres, Feeding America, Carenet, God Touch Milwaukee, Milwaukee Rescue Mission and many others.  Students also visit our Spring Creek shut-ins and do various projects around the church.

Parent Opportunities to Serve

LOFT Cafe Helpers
Each week we open the LOFT Cafe to give student the option of purchasing a hot meal, snacks and drinks.  Paul Fox coordinates this ministry but needs 2 adulthelpers each week from 5:45-7:30PM to help with set up, working the table, and clean up.  The Cafe has become quite popular and it's a great chance to interact with the students.!
