Follow Jesus

The first step is Jesus.

Salvation is God's gift, not something we earn. Jesus died for our sins, rose again, and gives forgiveness and new life to everyone who trusts in Him.

Our Need

Sin separates us from God, and none of us can rescue ourselves.

Jesus' Work

Jesus died for our sins and rose again, defeating sin and death.

Our Response

Trust in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord.

Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9

A baptism at Spring Creek Church

Baptism

Baptism tells the story of new life in Jesus.

Baptism is an outward sign of an inward reality. It publicly identifies a believer with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Baptism does not save us. Jesus saves by grace through faith.

What does baptism mean?

Baptism testifies that we have trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation. It symbolizes our new life in Him and our union with His people.

Romans 6:3-4; Matthew 28:19-20

Who should be baptized?

We baptize those who have personally trusted Jesus Christ for salvation. If you are exploring faith, we would love to walk with you toward that step.

Why do we baptize by immersion?

We practice baptism by immersion as the pattern we see in the New Testament and as a vivid picture of being buried with Christ and raised to walk in new life.

Our team will guide you through the process and help you prepare to share your testimony.

How does baptism relate to membership?

If you have trusted Christ but have not been baptized, we encourage you to take this step as part of uniting with our church family.

If you were already baptized as a believer, we are grateful to celebrate that with you.
